I’ve decided to create a new site devoted to a wider range of self-help topics. When my second book came out (Complete Idiot’s Guide to Phobias), I thought it needed its own blog. More recently, I’ve been working on a book about depression and self-help treatments for that. But I also am interested in other topics also related to self-help; for instance, I’ve written a bunch of posts here and there, and published articles in some writers’ magazines, on the psychology of writing; I’ve also written in martial arts publications (mostly ATA World) on the psychological dimensions of martial arts performance.
It seems more sensible (and a better way to avoid going crazy myself) to consolidate these things in one place. So I’ve decided to make my main headquarters for writing self-help, do it yourself treatment and other psych topics, to a separate site. Hence, today is moving day. You can now read about Social Intelligence and similar topics on my new site, High Performance Self-Help.
Pop on over.
